LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - It's also so easy to switch up some of the fatty products you commonly eat to healthier alternatives, without losing the delicious taste.
This helpful video from Buzzfeed shows 8 simple ways to be healthier, here are some of their tips:
Refined white sugar has no nutritional value to you. Instead, you can use coconut sugar; it contains iron, calcium, zinc and potassium.
White rice is just brown rice completely refined and stripped of all nutrients, so try to use brown rice.
Lettuce buns are a good alternative for staying away from carb-heavy breads.
Whole wheat or brown rice tortillas are a much healthier choice over processed flour tortillas.
Greek yogurt, almond butter and sweet potatoes are a better choice over regular yogurt, peanut butter and potatoes.
